Wedding Flowers at Maplehurst Farm

What a fun wedding! Maplehurst farm is such an idyllic setting, based in West Sussex it is a great place for a wedding and has a really relaxed and peaceful feel to it.

Andy, along with Emily’s sister Becky run Sussex based tipi hire company Tentario so of course it made sense to have the reception in a fabulously decorated tipi!  We decorated with foliage garlands winding up the support poles to give the tipi a natural feel and to bring a bit of the outside inside.

Emily didn’t have set ideas on her flowers but had a good idea of the colour palette she was after. She wanted to stick with pale soft colours with a very natural, summery feel. We made the most of what the summer season had to offer using soft pink dahlias, pale blue nigella, gorgeous scented white ‘Norma Jean’ roses, ammi, stocks, astrantia, delphinium, veronica (to name but a few!) and loads of lovely greenery including asparagus fern and silvery eucalyptus.

The little flower girls looked adorable in their flower crowns whilst the other bridesmaids carried posies of flowers to complement the bridal bouquet but each slightly different.
