Vintage 1930’s inspired wedding at The Claremont Hotel Hove

Classic elegance mixed with sunshine & beach huts!

Liza and Mark’s wedding back in August this year was such a joy to work on. It was such a stylish affair with every little design detail thought out making the whole day a feast for the eyes. Well what do you expect from the owners of a stylish interiors and homeware shop?! (Their new store Homeage is in the lovely area of 7 Dials, Brighton)

The ceremony took place at The Claremont, a beautiful small boutique hotel in Hove. The weather was perfect with wall to wall sunshine which was pouring into the ceremony room (and creating a nice light to photograph flowers in!) The Claremont is bright and airy and a really lovely place to get married.

The reception was at The Hove Club which was just two roads down enabling the guest to have a little walk down by the beach and check out our famous beach huts. This also made for some great photos taken by the lovely Naomi Fowler Weddings

We chose a colour palette of dusky pinks with a pop of rich red and loads of lush seasonal foliages. I loved using these colours, the rich red roses looking stunning against dusky pinks and silvery eucalyptus. I used beautiful English lisianthus with blackberries, eupatorium and mini alliums alongside asparagus fern to create lots of lovely contrasts of textures.
