Spring Wedding Flowers in East Sussex

Pretty in Pink, spring flowers at Pangdean Barn

Katie and James tied the knot at the pretty Catholic church, Our Lady of Lourdes in Rottingdean followed by the reception in Brighton’s Pangdean Barn. The couple arrived in style to the reception in a funky vintage VW Camper Van – which looked like awesome fun! Capturing the day (and my flowers!) beautifully was the amazing Sara Reeve, also based in Brighton.

We chose to embrace spring and the pretty flowers on offer, Katie knew the kind of loose and natural style she wanted so I set about to find some gorgeous spring blooms which I knew would be perfect for the kind of look she was after. We chose, avalanche roses, pale pink double ‘upstar’ tulips, sweet avalanche roses, pale pink wax flower, ammi, both pale pink and white ranunculus with plenty of ‘nicoli’ eucalyptus and jasmine to create a cascade for Katie’s bouquet.

Katie and James wanted a low key theme for the inside of Pangdean barn to work with the style of the venue. We filled jam jars with pretty spring blooms and placed them on rustic log slices. The table plan was made (by the bride and groom!) from a salvaged wooden door, and then we decorated it with a big garland of fresh eucalyptus.
