The booking process

Hello and congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding! I am delighted that you have chosen to consider Bettie Rose as your wedding florist. The following page contains all the information you need to know on how this whole process works, I hope this puts your mind at ease as chances are you haven’t done the whole wedding planning thing before! I have listed how it all works and in what order things happen, I want this process to be straightforward and stress free for you.

A little bit about Bettie Rose

All flowers are personally designed and delivered by me, Lib, you will receive a personal one to one service which I believe is really important to truly achieve the look you desire. I will personally take the time to get to know you and understand your ideas and style. Working from a studio means I can focus all my attention on you and your wedding with no day to day shop distractions, this makes communication much easier, I aim always to be efficient with contact.

Form

Firstly I ask you to fill in my enquiry form, this helps me to understand your vision. The form will ask you some questions about your wedding day including your colour scheme and any favourite flowers you might have – don’t worry if you don’t know about flowers – that’s my job! You can fill this in here or on the ‘get in touch‘ tab on the top menu.

Consultation

After receiving your form and providing I am available for your date I will schedule a meeting with you (plus whoever else wants to come along, partner/mum/bridesmaids/all of the above!) If you are not local to me or if a site visit is not possible at this stage then we will chat over the phone.

At the consultation we will talk through all the details of your wedding, this helps me to get to know you a little and to understand your style preferences. Taking the time to get to know you and understand your vision is key and I pride myself on being a good listener. It is really important to me that your flowers truly reflect your personality and not some idea of how wedding flowers ‘ought to look’.

Proposal

After our discussion I will take my notes away and work on a detailed proposal for you. This will include pictures and descriptions plus suggested flowers and colour notes.  Once I have received your deposit I will also create a personalised moodboard to help you visualise what we are working towards.

Booking Fee

You’ve received the quote and you’d like to book Bettie Rose to do your wedding flowers. I require a £100 booking fee which secures the date for you, once this is paid I will send you out a receipt and the day is all yours.

Final Payment

The final total is due 4 weeks before your wedding date. I will check in with you and send you the invoice 5 weeks before so you’re not caught by surprise! Once the final total is paid, I will put in the flower order with my supplier and we are all set and ready to go!

On The Day

I will personally deliver you flowers to you so I can wish you well on your big day. We will arrange convenient timings and will work around possible hair and makeup outings to make sure your flowers are with you within plenty of time before you leave for the ceremony. One last thing, have an amazing wedding day!
