Wakehurst Place Wedding

Colourful flowers for an August wedding

What a gorgeous venue Wakehurst Place is! On a beautiful sunny August Saturday I provided the flowers for Nicola and Ben to tie the knot. They chose a vibrant and warm mix of peaches, corals, cerise pinks, oranges and yellows which worked wonderfully with the setting and the weather. The flowers we chose were, sunflowers, ‘misty bubbles’ spray rose (one of my favourites!) ammi, stocks, ‘miss piggy’ roses, gloriosa, germinis, alstromeiria, antirrhinum and asters. The bridesmaids were dressed in bright pink so we lightened their bouquets slightly to ensure they stood out against the fabric (you don’t want a bouquet to disappear!)

Thank you so much for our fabulous wedding flowers. You really listened to what we had in mind. You were professional and prompt in your correspondence. The flowers on the day looked absolutely perfect – bright, beautiful, and different, and attracted many compliments. I wish they didn’t die so I could keep them forever! Would not hesitate to recommend Lib.

Thanks so much to Clare from Woodland Hill Photography for sharing these pictures with me (apart from the top 5 which are my own – as you can probably tell!)
