Autumn Flowers

Awesome Colourful Autumn!

Although I’m always sad to see the summer go I do get a bit excited about Autumn and it’s crisp mornings and beautiful rich red hues. I love the Autumn spices – even after being completely overloaded on pumpkin spiced everything whilst in Washington DC for a month last October! Spiced pumpkin beer is a favourite of mine – yep that’s a thing! Look at these fabulous Dahlias below, some of my very favourite Autumn flowers.

As for flowers, Autumn has some real treats to offer and you definitely won’t be short of options for your wedding flowers – Euphorbia, rich red hydrangeas, Physalis (Chinese Lanterns) Oak foliage, Crocosmia, Dahlia, Rosehips, Viburnum berries, Rudbeckia and Scabiosa pods to name but a few. Autumn has a wealth of rich colours and textures which are great fun to work with and to be able to use spikey twiggy branches and berries in arrangements makes a real change from the soft and fluffy pastel shades of the Summer.

Feast your eyes on some Autumn treats below, these delicious photos are total 100% guilt free pleasure and all taken either at work or on my travels. Enjoy!
