Toni and Charlie
What can I say, what a beautiful wedding! Toni and Charlie got married in the amazing Lancing Chapel – such a magnificent building! What I loved about this wedding was being able to really work with the seasonal flowers and foliage, I was allowed to dive in and really make the most of the Autumnal foliage which is a favourite of mine. There are such gorgeous colours to work with in Autumn and I think it is a great time for a wedding.
The colour theme was deep rich reds and purples with plenty of textures and seasonal leaves and branches. I used a mixture of roses, lisianthus, crocosmia seed pods, scabiosa pods, preserved beech leaves, astrantia and a whole host of beautiful seasonal treats.
The reception took place at Pangdean Barn, a lovely rustic barn just outside of Brighton. It is a really nice venue to work at and I’m always really pleased to get weddings there – the staff are aways so lovely! The table centres were tall vases with bouquets of Autumnal branches and foliage, a really great way of adding impact to somewhere with such high ceilings.
